Tasha Smith to Replace Theresa Randle in Upcoming ‘Bad Boys’ Film Amid Concerning Video of the Actress

Smith will take on the role of Theresa Burnett.

Tasha Smith is set to join Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the fourth installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise, playing the role of Theresa Burnett, previously portrayed by Theresa Randle in the first three films. Smith is an actress and director who has appeared in various movies and shows over the past thirty years, including “Couple’s Retreat“, Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” and its sequel, and the spin-off series, “For Better or Worse” with Michael Jai White.

The recasting news followed a troubling video posted by Hollywood Unlocked, showing a woman believed to be Randle sitting in a walker and talking with locals on the streets. The actress appeared smaller than what fans remembered, wearing a Disneyland sweater, plaid pants, a green baseball cap, and blue disposable gloves.

Roger Neal, a former manager and publicist of Randle, confirmed her identity in a recent interview with Radar Online, saying, “That’s definitely her. 100 percent.” Neal disclosed that he had not worked with the actress in over a decade but had received several inquiries from people wanting to work with her. However, he could not make contact as her number had changed, and she no longer had a working email. Neal is unsure of her current living condition, but she was last known to reside in Beverly Hills.

Randle began her theatrical career in the 1987 film “Maid to Order” and appeared in several Spike Lee films, including “Girl 6”, “Jungle Fever”, and “Malcolm X“, as well as “Beverly Hills Cop III”, “Space Jam“, and many more from the late 80s to 2020.
