1000-lb. Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton Takes the Front Seat for the First Time in Over Two Decades.

1000-lb. Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton Surprises Fans with a Milestone: Front Seat Car Ride in Over Two Decades! In a sneak peek shared by TLC on Instagram, Tammy is seen sharing a car journey with her brother Chris Combs, and they share some lighthearted banter before Tammy decides to take the plunge and sit in the front seat. Concerned about fitting between the car’s door and console, she hesitates, but Chris reassures her, “We can squish. We’re fine as long as the door closes.” Later, in a confessional, Tammy reveals that this front-seat adventure is her first since her teenage years.

With tears in her eyes, she emotionally shares, “It’s been two decades,” as she reflects on her journey from sitting on the car floor to her remarkable weight loss. Chris also expresses his happiness in a confessional, stating, “When Tammy realizes that she sat down in the chair and she’s good to go, and the door can close, you can tell the little battle that she just conquered made her feel wonderful.”

According to The US Sun, while taking care of her sister Amy’s two children, three-year-old Gage and one-year-old Glenn, Tammy is finding her sense of purpose. An insider revealed, “[Tammy] has been looking after [Gage and Glenn] a lot. She says it really gives her a great sense of purpose.” The source further explained, “She even had the opportunity to babysit her nephews overnight by herself, which was a significant achievement for her.”

In the show’s preview, the 36-year-old mother of two revealed that she was dealing with an overwhelming lack of assistance, expressing, “I am very stressed out and overwhelmed, and Michael isn’t helping at all.” Amy went on to say, “Every aspect of my life feels like chaos, and I feel completely unsupported.”

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Tammy faced the necessity of leaving her $76,000 home in Kentucky and moving in with her brother. According to The US Sun, the reason behind this transition was frequent disagreements with her sister, Amanda Halterman, 42, who owned the property. An insider disclosed, “[Tammy] had to move in with her brother Chris because she lost her house. She was renting it from her sister, Amanda, and their relationship was extremely strained.” A close friend of the ‘1000-lb. Sisters’ stars revealed, “They argue even worse than cats and dogs.”

Tammy’s previous residence in Sturgis, Kentucky, is roughly 38 miles distant from her brother’s home. In November, she made the move to his single-story house, which has a modest price tag of around $60,000. According to a reliable source, she’s already considering purchasing a nearby house in the near future.
