This Black Woman CEO Supports Small Businesses in the Face of DEI Challenges.
Robichaux founded “Chief of Minds” to support Black-owned businesses.

Chief of Minds, a human resources strategy firm, is dedicated to helping Black entrepreneurs optimize their operations and achieve peak efficiency for long-term success.
Founded in 2014, “Chief of Minds” is leaving its mark on the human resources industry. CEO and Founder Lakeisha Robichaux is helping businesses develop strategies for success, even in a challenging corporate environment.
Robichaux’s goal is to “ease workloads, streamline HR functions, and reduce costs.” A seasoned CEO, she developed her expertise in business optimization through experience with companies like CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General Corporation, and Loyola University.
Her work focuses on a mindful approach to efficiency and employee relations. Research indicates that employees are experiencing burnout faster than previous generations. A demanding work environment and excessive workloads contribute to reduced productivity, which negatively impacts a company’s bottom line. However, it is possible for a company to lead with compassion while upholding high standards for employee performance and productivity.
She believes that “showing genuine concern for others and expressing empathy fosters a positive work environment and enhances team performance.”
Robichaux and “Chief of Minds” are prepared to guide companies through the next four years of Donald Trump’s presidency. With a conservative House of Representatives and Senate, there may be cuts to programs that support small businesses. To succeed, companies will need to assess their current situation, and evaluating HR practices is an excellent first step.
