Kelly Clarkson drops F-bomb after band’s surprise move stuns her mid-show.

During her Las Vegas show Saturday night, Kelly Clarkson was caught off guard when a band member surprised her with a musical twist.
The 43-year-old Grammy winner, set to return to The Voice for Battle of the Champions, introduced the Kellyoke segment saying, “This is one of my favorite songs to cover… nothing beats the original, but I’m going to have fun with it—Radiohead’s Creep.”
Joking about her feathered jumpsuit sleeves, she told the crowd at The Colosseum, “I’m shedding—did you see it?” as the band kicked off the intro.
She suddenly stopped mid-sentence, looking shocked as soulful strings flowed into the melody.
“Oh my god, I totally missed this part in rehearsal,” she exclaimed as the camera shifted to the cellist.
“That was so beautiful. I can’t even… Ismail, what the f***?” she said, sparking laughter from the audience and band. “We did this in soundcheck, and you did not do that,” she added as the smiling musician kept playing.
“Can we do it again? I wasn’t ready,” the hitmaker asked, walking over to the band. “Do it again—I want to watch!” she urged, beaming as the intro restarted with the cello shining clearly above the other instruments.
She then launched into the song, showcasing her powerful vocal range to the cheering crowd.
Once the performance ended, Clarkson walked over and hugged cellist Ismael Ariel Guerrero Bombut.
Sharing the video on Instagram, the ACM winner wrote, “I love performing this song so much!! Also, @ismacello, that was incredibly beautiful!” with hashtags #Kellyoke, #StudioSession, and #KellyInVegas.
Bombut replied, “I have no words. It’s been such a blessing to share the stage with you. Forever grateful @kellyclarkson.” The bilingual musician also posted a different angle of the performance with captions in English and Spanish.
In his post, Bombut wrote, “Can’t believe this moment was caught on camera. My heart is so full, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity,” tagging Clarkson.
He added over the video clip, “Kelly Clarkson stopped the show just to hear my solo again… I’m still processing.”
Fans flooded the comments with praise: “Phenomenal job last night—hoping there’s a recording of this,” one wrote. “She’s right, it’s so beautiful,” said another, while a new fan added, “Incredible! You’ve got a new follower ♥️.”
Others applauded Clarkson for shining the spotlight on her band: “Freakin’ love how she fan-girls over everyone she works with,” one commented. Another wrote, “@KellyClarkson is one of the most genuine and insanely talented artists—it feels like watching your best friend on stage. And she nails it every time. ❤️❤️❤️”
