NFL Star’s Wife Claps Back at Body-Shamers, Promotes Body Positivity.

Bagsby is using her platform to champion fashion that embraces all body types.
This NFL girlfriend is offering more than just a glimpse into the glamorous side of sports — she’s also using her voice to promote body positivity.
Kalani Bagsby, girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Tyler Booker, began making headlines after being spotted on the sidelines at NFL games. However, her rising visibility also attracted online criticism, particularly targeting her as a plus-size WAG — a term used for wives and girlfriends of professional athletes.
She met Booker during their freshman year at the University of Alabama. After graduating with a promising career in communications, Bagsby found herself gaining attention not only for her professional achievements but also for her relationship as Booker entered the NFL.
“I’ve always had a passion for public relations, social media, and sports,” Bagsby told People. “At first, I thought I wanted to be a sports reporter, but I quickly realized being in front of the camera wasn’t for me.”
She later became involved in the NFL WAG community, even taking over the Women of the NFL Instagram account during preseason. However, her post drew criticism from some online users targeting her body.

“I know how to deal with the negativity, and I don’t mind putting myself out there if it means inspiring someone else — showing another woman, ‘Girl, you can do this,’” she shared. “You’re perfect just the way you are.”
Still, Bagsby wants to be recognized for more than just her looks. A passionate sports communications professional, she also channels her creativity into fashion with her own clothing line, First and Fine, which offers custom game-day apparel.
With her growing platform, she hopes to inspire more women to feel confident in their own skin and to celebrate WAGs of every shape and size.
“My main message is that you’re beautiful just as you are,” she says. “You don’t have to meet anyone’s standards — I certainly don’t, and I love myself. Confidence and self-love take time, but trust me, they’ll come.”
