Nicki Minaj Faces $503K Court Order, Could Lose $20M Mansion After Trump Praise.

Nicki Minaj has been ordered to pay $503,000 after losing a lawsuit, a ruling that could put her ownership of a $20 million California mansion at risk if the amount isn’t paid.
Judge Cindy Pánuco issued the judgment in 2024 in a case filed by her former security guard, Thomas Weidenmüller. He sued Minaj in 2022, alleging he was assaulted by her husband, Kenneth Petty, in March 2019 while they were in Germany.
Minaj has not yet paid the judgment, and in November 2025 Judge Pánuco said she was considering ordering the sale of the rapper’s eight-bedroom Hidden Hills, California home to satisfy Weidenmüller’s award.
Court documents reviewed by the Daily Mail say the judge is set to issue a final decision on Thursday unless Minaj pays Weidenmüller in full. The outlet also reported it contacted Minaj’s representatives and Weidenmüller’s attorney for comment.
Minaj has not yet paid the judgment, and the judge is being asked to order the sale of her home to satisfy Weidenmüller’s award unless she pays the amount by Thursday, according to court documents.
Weidenmüller’s attorney, Paul A. Saso, wrote in legal filings that the singer’s continued refusal to pay the judgment reflects a stubborn stance that could prove costly.
“While it’s unfortunate that the extraordinary step of forcing the sale of Minaj’s home may be necessary,” Saso said, “that outcome is entirely the result of her intransigence in failing to make payment.”
He also noted that Minaj is a global superstar, with an estimated net worth of $150–190 million, and is widely reported to be the world’s highest-paid female rapper.
Saso said there is “little doubt” Minaj has the means to pay the judgment in full, but alleged she has still declined to do so despite repeated written demands and levies served on several suspected creditors.
He argued his client “should not have to wait any longer” for payment years after the court’s decision, adding that Minaj’s continued nonpayment “wastes the Court’s limited resources” and “undermines the authority” of the judgment.
Saso said he is asking the court to order the sale of Minaj’s Southern California property “without delay” so his client can finally be paid. Judge Cindy Pánuco reportedly reviewed the steps involved in a forced sale last fall if the judgment remains unpaid.
“I just want to make sure we’re handling this correctly,” the judge said. “Suppose no bidder offers the full $20 million, and the property goes to auction but doesn’t fetch fair market value, leaving the proceeds insufficient.
“If the sale doesn’t cover what it’s supposed to—including the judgment in this case—I would consider that evidence in making my decision,” the judge added.
The legal troubles emerge just weeks after Minaj drew attention for her appearance at the Turning Point USA AmericaFest in Arizona.
At the event, the “Trollz” artist signaled a shift in her political stance, expressing support for both former President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, praising their direct communication styles.
“This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud,” Minaj said. “Our vice president—well, I love both of them. Both have an uncanny ability to connect with people.”
During the conversation with Kirk, Minaj referred to Vance as an “assassin,” later clarifying it was a slip of the tongue. The comment struck an emotional note for Kirk, whose late husband was tragically killed by an assassin on a Utah college campus in September.
After regaining her composure, Kirk made it clear she wouldn’t let the misstatement overshadow the discussion. “If the internet wants to clip it, who cares? I love this woman,” she said of Minaj.
