Jennifer Lawrence was spotted out-and-about in New York City last week, showing off her all-natural beauty and radiant skin while on a walk with her husband and son. The Causeway actress, 32, donned a navy, curve-hugging jumpsuit with white Mary Jane ballet flats for her stroll, and was photographed by paparazzi beside her husband Cooke Maroney, who pushed their 8-month-old son Cy in a stroller.
To complete her look, Lawrence wore her signature long, blonde tresses into a slicked-back, low ponytail and accessorized with shiny mini hoop earrings while carrying a brown paper bag. The Oscar winner’s makeup-free skin looked effortlessly rosy and glowy as she was snapped chatting with her husband. Maroney, 38, matched his wife’s casual vibe with a white tee, black trousers, Vans sneakers, and slung a black sweater over his shoulder while also carrying a tote bag.
The Silver Linings Playbook alum and art dealer were introduced by a mutual friend in 2018, began dating that year, got engaged in early 2019, and tied the knot in a small ceremony that October. They welcomed their first child, Cy, in February 2022, and Lawrence revealed that she suffered two miscarriages in the past in her September 2022 Vogue cover story.
Lawrence also warmed fans’ hearts by gushing about her son, and how motherhood brought more joy into her life. “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over,” she said, adding, “Like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’ I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere.”
Lawrence’s outing came just a few days after she sat down with The New York Times for an intimate interview in which she opened up about overcoming her fear of commitment when marrying Maroney, deciding to take his last name, and ultimately, feeling confident in knowing that she made the right choice in settling down with him.
The Don’t Look Up actress explained that she related to the fear of commitment that her character Lynsey experiences in her new film Causeway. “When you don’t fully know yourself, you have no idea where to put yourself,” she said. “And then I met my husband, and he was like, ‘Put yourself here.’ I was like, ‘That feels right, but what if it’s not?’”
Lawrence recognized she was having anxiety when it came to commitment, “and it was coming out of my performance in all these different creative ways, but I wasn’t conscious of it,” she said. “Then I went back, and when I’m home with my husband making this family, I’m so happy I stayed. I’m so happy I didn’t freak out and cancel the wedding and run away and go, ‘I’ll never be taken down!’”
