Fans were amazed to see Celine Dion at a Coldplay concert while battling stiff-person syndrome.

Celine Dion wowed fans with a surprise appearance at Coldplay’s Las Vegas concert over the weekend, despite her ongoing battle with stiff-person syndrome. The 57-year-old Grammy winner, who recently shared an emotional message during Eurovision’s semi-finals, was seen in the stands at Allegiant Stadium. Coldplay’s Chris Martin even serenaded her, and a TikTok video captured the moment, causing the crowd to erupt in cheers and applause.

Dion was visibly moved by the warm reception, standing up to wave at the crowd and placing a hand over her heart. Chris Martin then gave a heartfelt shoutout, singing, “Oh Celine, my beautiful sister. You make my heart go on and on. Near. Far. You’re a total superstar. Let’s hear it for the legendary Celine Dion!”

Celine Dion appeared to be joined by her three sons—Rene-Charles, 24, and 14-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy, whom she had with her late husband Rene Angelil. Another video showed Celine dancing on her feet as Coldplay played one of their hit songs. Wearing blue glasses, she swayed to the rhythm and even made a heart symbol with her hands for nearby fans.

The “Power of Love” singer shared photos from the concert on her Instagram and X accounts, writing, “What an unforgettable evening with @Coldplay at @AllegiantStadium… My heart is still singing! A heartfelt thanks to the band and their amazing team for welcoming my family with warmth and kindness. It was all… fantastique ❤️.”

Fans quickly flooded the comment section with excitement, with one writing, “What a special night! Thank you for gracing us, Queen Celine!” and another adding, “Wow, two musical giants in one space!”

“You look so beautiful, so happy to see you!!!” one fan wrote, while another shared, “I couldn’t be happier to see you having fun with your sons.”

A third added, “So glad to see you enjoying yourself and looking amazing,” and one more commented, “This is so precious. You look beautiful and so full of joy! You deserve it all. Love you xx.”

“She is the most humble and loved artist in the music industry,” one fan wrote, while another added, “It’s so great to see Celine out enjoying herself with her boys and looking fabulous.”

On X, fans continued to rave about the rare sighting, with one wishing for a Celine and Coldplay collaboration: “Please perform a song together with Coldplay.”

“Just two of the biggest music inspirations of my life, no big deal,” another commented, and one more wrote, “I’m so glad you had an amazing time, Celine.”

One fan wrote, “The humblest music legend on earth. Long live the Queen of Vegas. We miss you!!”

Another commented, “This is how you respect legends,” referring to the standing ovation Dion received and Chris Martin’s tribute.

At the concert, Dion looked stylish in a chic gray suit, with her hair pulled back into a sleek bun.

In 2022, Celine Dion shared her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome and canceled the rest of her tour dates.

Stiff-person syndrome is a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that can come and go, often worsening over time, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.

In a heartfelt video posted to her Instagram, the singer explained, “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life.”

‘Sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.’

Dion added, ‘I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle.

‘All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life, and it’s what I love to do the most,’ the mom-of-three continued.

Last year in May, Celine gave a health update during an interview with Vogue and expressed that her ‘happiness has come back.’

She continued, ‘It has been a big burden on my shoulders, and a lot of that weight’s gone…because now I can just focus on reality. That’s wonderful.’

During an appearance on Today last year, Celine Dion said, “I believe in myself, in my bravery,” and emphasized that she would not let the disorder “control my life.”

She added, “I’m going to come onstage when I’m ready. My vocal cords won’t scare me because I’ll be prepared, and I’m going to hit those notes.”

Celine, whose journey with the disease was featured in her documentary I Am: Celine Dion, delivered a powerful performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, singing L’Hymne à L’Amour by Edith Piaf.

She also presented the Album of the Year award to Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
