In a recent interview on Pablo Torre Finds Out, Marcus Jordan, the second-oldest son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, revealed his intention to maintain a cherished family tradition by having his father serve as the best man at his upcoming wedding to Larsa Pippen. This announcement comes after Michael Jordan previously fulfilled the role of best man at Marcus’ brother Jeffrey’s wedding, prompting Marcus to consider it only fitting to continue this tradition.

The prospect of Air Jordan taking on the role of best man at his son’s wedding has generated considerable excitement on social media, particularly given the intriguing connection between Marcus’ fiancée, Larsa Pippen, and Michael Jordan’s former Chicago Bulls teammate, Scottie Pippen, with whom he won six NBA championships.

Reflecting on his decision, Marcus Jordan stated, “I was the best man at his wedding and the best man at my brother’s wedding, and so obviously, we’ll keep that tradition going is my thoughts on it.”

During the interview, Torre inquired whether the couple would consider televising their wedding, to which Marcus Jordan hinted at the possibility. He shared, “Now that I’ve been on The Housewives of Miami, all the producers are inquiring around when’s the wedding, are we going to film it on TV, so that’s another thing that we’re playing along with is whether or not we’ll air it.”

Despite the potential for a televised event, Marcus emphasized the family’s inclination toward privacy. He expressed his desire for multiple weddings, including one for close family and friends and another that might be more public. However, the final decision remains uncertain, and time will reveal their choice.

The world eagerly awaits to see whether Michael Jordan will indeed stand as the best man at his son’s wedding, particularly given his statement in June expressing disapproval of Marcus and Larsa’s relationship. During an episode of Pippen and Jordan’s podcast, Separation Anxiety, Larsa Pippen candidly discussed how Michael Jordan’s comments had hurt her, leaving her feeling “traumatized” and “embarrassed.”

Marcus, on the other hand, brushed off his father’s remarks, attributing them to intoxication, which didn’t sit well with Larsa Pippen. She addressed Marcus, saying, “You thought it was funny. I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it.… I kinda felt like it went everywhere, and I was kind of embarrassed.”

Larsa Pippen further explained her discomfort with the situation, as it appeared that the public had doubts about her claim that both the Jordan and Pippen families had given their approval for her relationship with Marcus. The unfolding developments in the Jordan-Pippen family dynamic continue to captivate public interest.
