Master P Launches Healthy Food Company to Make Taste Buds Say ‘Yum!

“African Americans have voiced their desire for healthier food options, and I listened. That’s why Miller Family Foods was created—to nourish joy, promote wellness, and ensure satisfaction.”

Hip-hop mogul Percy Miller, also known as Master P, has launched a company focused on providing healthier food options to benefit the Black community.

Master P took to Instagram on Juneteenth to announce the launch of Miller Family. He expressed his motivation for starting the healthy food company: to foster economic empowerment and introduce diversity to grocery stores by offering delicious, Black-owned healthy food choices.

Master P wrote, “Our culture is evolving beyond mere consumption. Annually, we spend trillions of dollars without significant ownership, but that’s beginning to change. African Americans are seeking healthier food options, and I’ve heard their voices loud and clear. That’s why Miller Family Foods was born—to bring joy through nourishment. Eat well. Feel great.”

The new product line features cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, pancakes, and waffles. Master P, the New Orleans entrepreneur, guarantees that these items are crafted with premium quality and natural ingredients.

Additionally, Miller emphasized the company’s commitment to community outreach and its support for charitable organizations.

Miller Family Foods’ motto is “FEEDING HAPPINESS, making a difference by serving healthy happiness, one bite at a time. We uphold values of integrity, hard work, and community support. We are proud to contribute to charitable organizations like Door of Hope.”

Products under the Miller Family Foods brand are free from artificial preservatives, GMOs, BHA/BHT, partially hydrogenated oils, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and colors.

In related news, several months ago, Master P and Snoop Dogg filed a lawsuit against Walmart, alleging sabotage of their Snoop Cereal brand, which launched in July 2023. The lawsuit, reported by MarketWatch, states that Broadus Foods, owned by Snoop and Master P, has taken legal action in a Minnesota court. They accuse Walmart and Post Consumer Brands (known for Raisin Bran, Shredded Wheat, and Honeycomb) of hindering their product by withholding it from store shelves and leaving it in the stockroom, thereby endangering sales of Snoop Cereal.
