Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of her 10-month-old baby girl.

The young mother faced a life-threatening health condition that led to a premature birth.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is mourning the loss of her 10-month-old daughter following an extended stay in the NICU.
Broadus shared the heartbreaking news on January 31 via her Instagram Story, announcing the passing of her baby girl. The 26-year-old also posted a photo of herself with her daughter, Codi Dreaux, in a deeply emotional tribute.
“On Monday, I lost the love of my life—my Codi,” she shared on social media, according to People.
Just three weeks before the infant’s passing, Broadus had been celebrating her baby’s release from the hospital. She previously shared that she gave birth three months prematurely in February 2025, resulting in her daughter spending several months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
At the time, signs were hopeful, as doctors cleared Broadus to finally bring her baby girl home.
Now, Broadus and the baby’s father, Wayne Deuce, are grappling with the heartbreaking loss of their daughter. The grieving parents shared photos celebrating moments from her short life, with Deuce calling it the “saddest” time of his life.
“I’ve been the saddest since you left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know you’re at peace. Daddy will always love you,” Deuce wrote.
Broadus was forced to deliver six months into her pregnancy after developing serious health complications. She was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, a life-threatening condition considered a severe form of preeclampsia. Before this pregnancy, Broadus had publicly battled other serious health issues, including a stroke and lupus.
Despite her early arrival, Broadus safely delivered her daughter at just 25 weeks. She shared on Instagram about her “NICU baby,” crediting divine protection for keeping both herself and her baby healthy.
“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed,” Broadus wrote at the time. “But no matter what, God always shows me that He’s got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far.”
Throughout this heartbreaking time, Broadus has received support from her family. Snoop Dogg, the family’s patriarch, shared a post reassuring fans that they remain united in their grief.
