Laylah Rose Takes Over Miss USA Organization Franchise as Rigging Allegations Found ‘False’ after Investigation.


In a statement, Rose expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming pageants and her aspirations to attract worldwide interest.

Miss USA and Miss Teen USA now have a fresh ownership. The national pageant organizers announced that Laylah Rose will take on the role of president and chief executive officer.

In her statement, Laylah Rose, the founder of VVV Global Ent., expressed her vision for the organization. She aims to inspire women to pursue new dreams, embrace courage in exploring various opportunities, and uphold integrity throughout their journeys.

Rose holds the position of CEO at the VIP Pageantry television network and is the proud owner of her clothing brand named Laylah Rose Couture. Furthermore, she actively contributes as a member of the U.S. National Committee for U.N. Women, the United Nations organization dedicated to promoting gender equality.

Rose is set to assume control of the Miss USA brand, taking it over from the Miss Universe Organization and the pageant’s former national director, Crystle Stewart.

Continuing her statement, Rose expressed her excitement about the upcoming pageants, with high hopes of attracting global attention.

The 72nd annual Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants are scheduled to make their return to the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada on Sept. 25. Executive production of the pageants will be handled by Kerri Zane Enterprises and Brentwood Communications International Inc.

In the same press release, Zane, an Emmy-winning producer, expressed her anticipation for collaborating with Laylah to introduce a fresh and innovative entertainment show to the world of pageants.

Bud Brutsman of BCII also shared his excitement, acknowledging that Miss USA holds an iconic status in the pageant world. He looks forward to partnering with Laylah Rose to bring her vision for the pageant and brand’s future into reality.

Miss USA R’bonney Gabriel is crowned as Miss Universe 2022 during the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

In the previous year, Stewart and the Miss USA pageant were confronted with accusations of favoritism towards Miss Texas, R’Bonney Gabriel. However, the organization addressed the situation with a thorough investigation, concluding that the allegations of rigging the 2022 Miss USA pageant were unfounded, as stated on Tuesday. Gabriel, who was crowned Miss USA in 2022, later achieved victory in the Miss Universe pageant in January 2023.

Furthermore, in 2022, the Miss Universe Organization underwent a change in ownership when Thai businesswoman Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip acquired it from the talent management company IMG.
