Inside Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend: The Celebration Bringing U.S. Women Olympians Their Parade.

It’s never too late to honor the incredible women of the 2026 Winter Games.
After Flavor Flav made headlines in February by announcing his plans to celebrate the USA Women’s Hockey team along with Olympic and Paralympic medalists, that vision has officially become a reality.
Running from July 16 to 19 in Las Vegas, SHE Weekend is the first event of its kind, bringing together more than 100 elite athletes, including Alysa Liu, Amber Glenn, Breezy Johnson, Brittany Bowe, Hilary Knight, and Madison Chock. The festivities kick off at 7 p.m. on July 16 at Toshiba Plaza with live entertainment to launch the four-day celebration.
Following the opening festivities, a free public parade will begin shortly after 8 p.m., allowing fans to join the celebration without purchasing a ticket. The procession will showcase local sports icons from the Las Vegas Aces, Raiders, and Golden Knights, alongside nearly 20 community organizations.
At the conclusion of the parade, Flavor Flav and the Winter Games athletes will be honored with the ceremonial keys to the Las Vegas Strip in recognition of their achievements.
The evening will wrap up with a free live concert featuring performances by Public Enemy, Blu DeTiger, Grace Bowers, and several surprise guest artists.
Those who can’t make it to Las Vegas can still experience the festivities through the She Center, the official digital hub covering every highlight of the inaugural SHE Weekend.
Throughout the weekend, the Winter Games athletes will be treated to exclusive experiences, including VIP tickets and meet-and-greet opportunities with the Backstreet Boys at Sphere and Ed Sheeran at Allegiant Stadium.
The celebration also includes a private dinner hosted by MGM Resorts, giving the athletes a chance to connect and be honored in an intimate setting.
SHE Weekend will also feature two days of thoughtfully curated panel discussions with influential women from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and business. Among the highlights is a keynote address by Chantell Preston, co-founder and owner of the League One Volleyball team, San Francisco Signal.
“I’m honored to welcome these incredible athletes to Las Vegas for my Flavor Flav SHE Weekend,” Flav said in a statement. “I want to thank everyone who’s reached out to be part of this. It’s going to be an unforgettable, action-packed weekend.”
The idea for SHE Weekend first took shape in February after the U.S. women’s hockey team captured the gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics. At the time, Flav took to social media to offer the athletes the celebration he believed they deserved, promising to host them in Las Vegas with special dinners, entertainment, and memorable experiences while seeking support from hotel and airline partners to make it happen.
Just days later, the rapper shared an Instagram video revealing that he wanted to make the celebration even bigger by inviting every U.S. female Olympic and Paralympic medalist to take part in the event.
His vision continued to gain momentum in May when he appeared before the Clark County Commission to secure preliminary approval for SHE Weekend. The meeting quickly went viral after a lighthearted mix-up involving his name added an unexpected moment of humor to the proceedings.
