Rihanna Reveals Regret Over Outfits That Exposed Her Nipples.

As a recognized fashion icon, Rihanna has donned everything from the iconic sunshine yellow dress at the 2015 Met Gala to her internet-shattering sheer crystal-studded gown by Adam Selman. However, even style leaders sometimes have fashion regrets, and Rihanna is no exception. This week, during the debut of her Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Earth Tone shoe in London, Rihanna shared some of her top fashion picks and missteps with British Vogue. She included the backless Stella McCartney gown from the 2014 Met Gala afterparty and the white crop top with a maxi skirt from the main event among her favored ensembles. Yet, she admitted that any outfits revealing her nipples are looks she would avoid in the future.

“It might seem hypocritical since I’ve done quite a bit in my past. I’ve exposed my nipples, shown my underwear,” remarked the founder of Fenty Beauty. “But now, as a mother and a maturing young woman — and I stress young — those are things I look back on and think, ‘I can’t believe I did that. Nipples out? Really?’

Rather than drawing solely from her own sense of style, Rihanna admits that when it comes to outfitting her two sons—23-month-old RZA and 7-month-old Riot—she often turns to their father and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, for inspiration.

“I always aim to dress them like Rocky,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight. “You know, as women, we often imagine dressing a daughter in cute outfits, right? But then you have sons, and it’s like, ‘Now what?’ And then I thought, ‘I’ve got the perfect solution—their dad.'”
