Angel Reese is taking flight—she’s walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Reese will hit the runway for the first time on Oct. 15.

WNBA standout Angel Reese is breaking barriers as the first professional athlete to grace the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.

Reese expressed her excitement on Instagram, writing, “Living the dream: From Angel to a Victoria’s Secret ANGEL. Wings on, heels ready—see you on the runway!”

Victoria’s Secret quickly responded on Instagram with a video post. The brand’s page welcomed the Chicago Sky player to the Victoria’s Secret family. The promotional video shows Reese sans sneakers. Instead, the 23-year-old wore a pink robe, black lingerie, and Victoria’s Secret’s signature feather wings. The brand described her as “the first professional athlete angel.”

The iconic fashion show debuted in 2001 and ran annually until its 2019 cancellation, returning last year after a long hiatus. During that comeback show, Reese attended as a guest, not a model.

Speaking with People, she shared how she had once dreamed of this moment:
“It’s such a surreal, full-circle experience — just last year, I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, inspired by the powerful women who walked it. Now, I get to return as an Angel, and it’s a night I’ll cherish forever.”

Reese added that stepping into modeling draws on the same skill she relies on in basketball: confidence.

“It’s all about confidence,” she shared.

The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will showcase headline performances by Missy Elliott and others. Confirmed models include Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Anok Yai, Lily Aldridge, and Alex Consani.
