Beyoncé Surprises 2-Year-Old with Gifts After Viral TikTok video.
Many of us might hesitate to ask, but Tyler Fabregas, a bold 2-year-old, had no such reservations. In a TikTok video that went viral last week from Manila, Philippines, he inquired of his mother, “Where’s Beyoncé?”
“Beyoncé is at her home, baby,” his mother, Bea Fabregas, responded.
“She’s our friend,” Tyler asserted confidently.
After the video went viral, Beyoncé herself, having seen it, sent Tyler a gift through her representatives—a bouquet of blue and white flowers and a stuffed dinosaur toy.
“Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes—it’s crazy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler, and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure,” Fabregas shared in an Instagram post on Wednesday, proudly announcing, “For the record, @beyonce and Tyler are now actually, officially friends!”
Fabregas mentioned that the note from Beyoncé was addressed to “my friend Tyler” and contained the message, “I see your halo, Tyler,” alluding to the singer’s popular 2008 song, “Halo.”
Included in the Instagram post were screenshots of a conversation between Fabregas and Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.
According to the post, Noel-Schure wrote, “I am writing to you about the adorable video you posted with the little boy wanting to visit Beyoncé. Are you his family? She would love to send him something.”
The original TikTok video, lasting about one minute, captures a conversation between Tyler and his mother in what seems to be a food court at a shopping mall.
As Tyler nibbles on pizza, he asks, “Can I visit Beyoncé?” reassuring his mom, “You know her personally! She’s my friend.” The video concludes with Tyler playing with toy animals, while Beyoncé’s 2024 hit country single “Texas Hold ‘Em” plays softly in the background.
Fabregas expressed her amazement in her post, saying, “Considering the number of mentions and videos Beyoncé receives every day, it’s still mind-blowing that she took the time to send this sweet gift.” She added, “Tyler may be too young to remember all this, but I’ll always remind him to dream big and shoot for the stars!! BEYONCÉ SENT MY BABY FLOWERS!!!!”
