Taylor Swift Accused of Brainwashing Americans for Biden Votes by Conspiracy Theorist Conservatives – Megyn Kelly Anticipates Swift’s Downfall from Stardom.

Kelly previously criticized Swift’s actions at the Golden Globes and her support for a comedy show fundraising for Palestine. Some conservatives speculate that Swift may influence Americans to vote for Democrats, as Biden seeks her endorsement in 2024. Kelly dismissed this as a conspiracy theory and pointed out that even some individuals she respects on the right are promoting it.

Megyn Kelly took issue with conservatives expressing concerns that Taylor Swift’s potential endorsement of Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election could sway voters. Kelly had previously criticized Swift for her reaction to a joke directed at her during the Golden Globes and for her participation in a comedy show that supported pro-Palestinian charities. Nevertheless, recent reports suggesting that the Biden campaign is eyeing Swift as a top endorser for 2024 have fueled speculation among some conservatives that she may have the power to influence voters towards the Democratic party.

Kelly dismissed it as a conspiracy theory and pointed out, “There are individuals on the right whom I admire and hold in high regard who are promoting this notion.”

During “The Megyn Kelly Show,” she further remarked, “I don’t understand the fear surrounding her. She possesses influence and has urged people to vote, resulting in about 35,000 registered voters. However, there’s a distinction between registering to vote and actually casting your ballot.

She pointed out that other celebrities, such as George Clooney, have previously endorsed candidates without achieving their desired outcomes.

Kelly did concede that Swift was likely to support left-leaning candidates in 2024, as she did openly in 2020, along with her boyfriend Kelce, who serves as a spokesperson for Pfizer and Bud Light. Nevertheless, she questioned, “Why is there so much apprehension about this?” She also mentioned that she is not among the “overwhelming majority of people” who find Swift captivating, reiterating her criticism of Swift’s attendance at the comedy show that fundraised for Palestine.

Nonetheless, she believed that if Swift were to publicly endorse the Democrat Biden, it could potentially signal the end of a recurring celebrity cycle in America, where individuals are elevated and then criticized.

“If she makes a wise decision, she’ll remain apolitical, which would be more beneficial for her,” Kelly remarked. “She won’t maintain her status as the most beloved figure in America if she continues to alienate half of the Republican-voting population, but that’s her choice.”

Her guests, conservative commentator Glenn Beck and Britt Mayer, concurred that portraying Swift as part of a conspiracy was far-fetched.

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson labeled the extensive media attention on Swift, who is arguably the most prominent pop star globally, as “a manipulative operation” that was entirely fabricated. He asserted that Americans were being deceived.

Semafor reported that Jack Posobiec also voiced support for this theory during a recent speech.

In 2020, Swift gave her endorsement to Biden, and this year, his campaign is aiming to leverage her influence to attract young voters and campaign contributions, according to The New York Times.

In fact, a recent poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies revealed that 18% of respondents stated they are “more likely” or “considerably likely” to support a candidate endorsed by Swift.

The pursuit of Swift’s support is part of the broader strategy of the Biden campaign to portray Donald Trump as a threat to abortion rights and personal liberties. With Trump securing two victories in the Republican primary, the Biden campaign has now shifted its focus to him as their primary competitor in the 2024 election.

To engage voters who may not rely on conventional news sources or have grown disenchanted with a rematch election from four years ago, the Biden campaign is employing social media as a means of outreach, featuring videos from social media influencers. The White House has previously convened social media influencers to discuss healthcare and other topics and is now seeking their assistance for a second term.

During a fundraising tour in California last December, Biden’s team met with a group of influencers in an effort to garner their support for his campaign. In North Carolina this month, Biden visited an individual whose student loans were forgiven through a federal program. The man’s son shared a TikTok video of the presidential visit, attracting millions of views.

Prominent Democrats have urged the president to focus on securing Taylor Swift’s support. California Governor Gavin Newsom stated in September, “Taylor Swift stands as a distinctive and influential figure. Her ability to mobilize young people, encouraging them to recognize their voice and choice in the upcoming election, is profoundly impactful.”

Swift has previously utilized her online influence to engage voters, as demonstrated by her September 2023 post encouraging her 272 million followers to register to vote, which resulted in over 35,000 registrations.

Biden will have several opportunities to court the singer. If her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs triumph in the Super Bowl following their recent playoff victory, they would likely receive a customary White House invitation to commemorate their victory, with players often bringing significant others to such events. Additionally, there is a state dinner scheduled for Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio on April 10th, offering the White House an opportunity to extend an invitation to the singer.

Swift may find interest in political issues, especially given her own experience as a victim of AI-generated deepfakes that led to the proliferation of explicit content featuring her on social media.

Recently, AI-generated explicit deepfake images of Swift garnered tens of millions of views on X, formerly known as Twitter. These posts posed a significant challenge for content removal, prompting X to temporarily suspend searches related to the singer’s name in an effort to combat the spread of these images.

The White House has expressed concern regarding the widespread circulation of fake images on the internet, which includes not only deepfakes but also those involving deceased children. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “We are deeply troubled by the reports of false images circulating, and we are committed to addressing this issue.”

Even President Biden himself has fallen victim to AI-generated content, with voters in New Hampshire receiving robocalls during the primary that featured a voice resembling Biden, urging them to skip the primary. Remarkably, there are currently no federal laws in the United States that explicitly prohibit the creation and dissemination of deepfakes, even when they contain pornographic content.
