“Protecting My Peace”: Garcelle Beauvais Gets Real About Leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in New Memoir.

The actress, author, former model, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opens up about the defining moments of her life in a deeply personal new Audible Original.

For decades, Garcelle Beauvais has lived in the spotlight — from fashion runways and Hollywood sets to red carpets and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, she’s opening up about her journey, embracing authenticity, standing in her power, and choosing to walk away on her own terms.

Written and narrated by Beauvais herself, Protecting My Peace…At ALL Costs gives listeners an intimate look into her life through candid stories, personal truths, and lessons on identity, relationships, and self-worth. The new AudibleOriginal is now streaming exclusively on Audible.

“This story is about recognizing when your spirit has had enough — and finding the strength to choose yourself,” said Garcelle Beauvais. “Protecting my peace, setting boundaries unapologetically, and stepping fully into my power isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.”

“I wanted to share what I’ve learned about showing up fully as myself and never dimming who I am to fit into any room,” Garcelle Beauvais said. “Sometimes, the boldest thing you can do is choose yourself.”

From her childhood in Haiti to building a career in Hollywood, raising three sons, navigating two divorces, and making history on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Beauvais reflects on the moments that shaped her journey and the lessons she learned about intuition, love, faith, and self-worth.

In newly released audiobook previews, Beauvais also speaks candidly about the impact of her husband’s infidelity becoming public.

“My entire world shattered… And the aftermath didn’t stay behind closed doors. It followed me into auditions, onto sets, and through industry events where everyone suddenly knew my story.”

Garcelle Beauvais also reflects on the emotional aftermath of sending an email to her husband’s company, Creative Artists Agency, following his infidelity.

She further opens up about the toll The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took on her mental health — a struggle that ultimately led to her headline-making reunion walk-off.

“When I noticed I was crying more than I was looking forward to work, I realized something had to change. The executives were concerned because they had never seen me so emotionally drained. They encouraged me to speak with the show’s therapist, and one thing he said really stayed with me: ‘The negative may finally be outweighing the positive.’”
