Oprah dazzles with a trendy new look at Beyoncé’s concert.
Oprah Winfrey showed off a fresh new look at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour opening in Los Angeles on Monday. The 71-year-old media mogul, who’s lost over 40 pounds in the last year and a half, rocked wide-leg jeans and sneakers. She was joined by best friend Gayle King, Gayle’s daughter Kirby Bumpus, mentee Thando Dlomo, and Tyler Perry.

The group coordinated in white, light-wash denim, and black leather outfits as they captured their night out.
“Tonight’s the night! Outfits are ready… @beyonce, we’re on our way!” Gayle King captioned her Instagram post.
Winfrey’s Oprah Daily account sent well wishes, sharing a video clip and quoting Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” in the caption: “Throw your keys up, @beyonce! Have fun @oprah, @gayleking, @thando_d, @kirbybump, and @nicolemangrumhair.”
In the video, Gayle excitedly shouted, “Guess where we’re going! We’re ready!” as her billionaire friend joined in, chanting, “Giddyup.”
Earlier, Oprah Daily shared a heartwarming moment where Oprah surprised Thando with a ticket to the highly anticipated concert.
“I forgot to tell you I got a ticket for you…” Oprah began, before Thando, a member of the first graduating class from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy, interrupted, asking, “…for me to go where?”
Thando was in shock when her longtime mentor revealed she was heading to the opening night of Beyoncé’s tour.
She broke into song and dance outside a Whole Foods in LA, celebrating the moment.
Oprah looked stunning in a light-wash denim trench coat over a fitted white turtleneck. The fashion-forward icon sported a flawless makeup look, with her thick brunette hair styled in loose, cascading curls and a side part. She finished the look with round, frameless, lightly tinted sunglasses.
In late 2023, the Mississippi-born superstar shared how she lost weight by adopting a lifestyle change.
“It’s not just one thing, it’s everything. I plan to keep it that way,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
Winfrey had previously emphasized that she hadn’t resorted to weight loss drugs. She also discussed body image during a panel in New York City for Oprah Daily’s The Life You Want series in September 2023.
“I don’t know if there’s another public figure whose weight struggles have been exploited as much as mine,” she reflected during a conversation with Weight Watchers CEO Sima Sistani, psychologist Rachel Goldman, and obesity specialists Fatima Cody Stanford and Melanie Jay.
She shared that she once thought, “I have to do this on my own because if I take the drug, that’s the easy way out.”
Soon after the panel, the Color Purple star opened up about using GLP-1 medication, admitting, “I now use it as a tool to manage not yo-yoing.”
“It quiets the food noise,” she revealed to People in December 2023.
